Welcome to Save Watertown Wildlife!
How it started
Our group was started when Alexis – Watertown resident since 2002, backyard chicken owner, medical writer by day, reluctant public speaker – joined Mass Audubon’s grassroots campaign Rescue Raptors.
Save Watertown Wildlife kicked off officially in December 2024.
When we meet
We have regular meetings that are open to all members on the fourth Thursday of each month at noon on Google Meets. We go over ongoing and upcoming projects, brainstorm new initiatives, and chat about challenges and wins related to our mission.
Please join us! Email savewatertownwildlife@gmail.com.
Our projects
We are currently focused on engaging and educating the public on the harms of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs), and supporting individuals in their work toward our shared goals. We are also working hard to support passage of the statewide bill, “An Act restricting the use of rodenticides in the environment” (H.965/S.644).
